Our library is open to the public year-round during regular operation hours with the exception of the following observed holidays.:

- January 1st - New Year's Day
- January 18th - Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday
- February 15th - Presidents Day
- May 31st - Memorial Day
- June 20th - Juneteenth
- July 5th - Independence Day
- September 3rd - Elko County Fair (closed Noon to 5 pm)
- September 6th - Labor Day
- October 29th - Nevada Day
- November 11th - Veteran’s Day
- November 25th - Thanksgiving Day
- November 26th - Family Day
- December 24th - Christmas Eve
- December 25th - Christmas Day
